The Boys' Place is a television and web comedy series. It is written and directed by Cameron B Patterson, who also performs as one of the five lead characters. The Boys' Place was filmed in Brisbane, in December 2005 and January 2013. The Boys' Place will premiere on Melbourne community television station C31 on Saturday 11 June 2011 at 9:00pm. Episodes will be posted to the series' website at the conclusion of each episode's broadcast. == Production == Although originally written and intended to be filmed in Melbourne, The Boys' Place was eventually filmed in Brisbane after the series' creator met the owners of Ideal Media Group who had been looking for a series to produce for their fledgling video production company. The house used as the primary location for the series was at 32 McDonald St, Hawthorne. Although the house itself was fairly old and run-down, it was surrounded by opulent houses in an upmarket street which the producers had to carefully edit out.
